Role Overview

As a Marketplace Growth Manager, you’ll own the success of a portfolio of clients. You’ll be accountable for their performance, predominantly on Amazon, working as the key contact and trusted advisor. Your focus will be on driving growth through strategy, optimisation, and commercial insight.

While Amazon Advertising experience is desirable, it isn’t essential — you’ll work closely with our in-house ads specialists. The real key is having a deep understanding of the Amazon platform, the ability to analyse performance, and the commercial acumen to align strategies with each client’s unit economics and business objectives.


Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of client performance on Amazon, ensuring KPIs and growth targets are met.

  • Act as the main point of contact for assigned clients, building strong and trusted relationships.

  • Develop and execute growth strategies for Amazon accounts, aligned with client goals and commercial realities.

  • Lead strategic account reviews, presenting insights, recommendations, and performance updates.

  • Collaborate with Amazon Ads specialists to ensure advertising performance supports overall growth strategies.

  • Oversee content optimisation including A+ Content, Brand Stores, and product detail pages.

  • Use data analysis and reporting to identify opportunities, diagnose issues, and inform decisions.

  • Stay on top of Amazon marketplace changes, policies, and innovations, advising clients proactively.

  • Work with internal teams to deliver a seamless, high-quality service.

  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities to grow client accounts.


What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in eCommerce, Amazon account management, or a related client-facing role.

  • Deep understanding of the Amazon platform, including Seller Central and/or Vendor Central.

  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to quickly understand a client’s business model and unit economics.

  • Proven ability to be accountable for results, delivering growth and measurable ROI.

  • Strong communication and client-facing skills – able to build rapport and present confidently.

  • Analytical mindset – able to interpret data and translate it into action.

  • Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple clients.

  • An individual with a growth mindset, hunger to learn, with a desire to be accountable and drive their own career. This won’t be your normal 9-5 role. It’ll be fast paced, demanding, fun and hugely rewarding. Primo will be a cut above everyone else, so you will be too!


Desirable (Not Essential)

  • Experience running or overseeing Amazon Ads (PPC & DSP).

  • Exposure to other marketplaces (eBay, TikTok Shop, Etsy, etc.).

  • Agency-side experience managing multiple accounts.

  • Knowledge of tools such as Helium 10.
